The 'Gothic Endings' is a club established in a former crematorium at Green-Wood Cemetery. It is decorated appropriately for a place catering for dark themes while located next to thousands of corpses. There was some protesting at placing a nightclub so close to the cemetery, but when none of the next-door neighbours complained, it was allowed to go ahead. On probation.

So why is Alison Blair, stage name Dazzler and epitome of light, at a place like this? Because the industrial music is banging, and she likes all kinds of tunes. Just not improvisational jazz. Alison is on her lonesome, dancing away, dressed in boots, jeans, and a deep blue t-shirt - her jacket safely in the cloakroom.

Noire Addams happens to also love industrial music, but she more seems to blend into the scene mostly. Her outfit screams Gothic Oppai Lolita as she dances with herself along the dance floor. Mostly her hips just moving to the base beat as her hands moved along with the tremble.

Alison does stand out a little in the crowd with her reddish-blonde hair and non-black clothes but no one seems to be bothering her. Deciding she needs a drink, she heads for the bar, accidentally bumping into Noire on the way. "Sorry!" she yells over the music, offering a smile of apology. "I think I'm getting lightheaded" she grins, skin glistening with perspiration. "Let me buy you a drink to apologise!"

Noire Addams looks more surprised than bothered by Alison bumping into her, offering a kind smile. "Oh! Sure! It isn't a big deal but if you insist," is shouted over the music and easily soon she is following after the reddish blonde in the non-goth attire. Her hand reaching up to lightly tug on the Dazzler's elbow to lead her towards the more quietish side of the bar in the club.

Alison is happy for the guidance though she will stop at the bar on the way to grab drinks - whatever Noire would like. Alison will be having absinthe…even if she is under drinking age. Finally, the quiet booth is reached and Alison slides in one side. "Music is so great" she grins. "Do you come here often?" She thinks a moment and then laughs in embarrassment. "Oh, wow, I can't believe I just said that. Lousiest chat up line ever."

Noire Addams had ordered a rum and coke for herself, not exactly old enough for a drink herself but the staff don't seem to care too terribly. As she settles into the booth she agrees, "The music is wonderful, and I have been on and off that past week or so. And it isn't lousy. Promise." A kind smile given to the woman sitting across from her before she declares, "Kinda surprised to see you here, not that it is bad or anything. Just… hard to explain." A laugh emitting then that shifts to hinted nervousness towards the end. "I'm Noire Addams by the way."

"Why is it odd to see me here?" Alison asks before a little laugh. "Oh, the hair and the clothes. Yeah, I do sort of stand out a bit. Nice to meet you, Noire, I'm Alison Blair." Dazzler is just breaking out from the underground so wouldn't be a household name yet - not to mention that her music is a bit different than what is playing here. She certainly won't presume that Noire knows who she is, though Hank might play her music at the Xavier School. "Wait…that chat up line actually worked? Damn, I guess the old ones really are the best."

Noire Addams laughs a bit before she admits, "I guess? Never really had many chat up lines delivered? I don't think so anyway." Her eyes seeming to study over Alison a bit closer before realization makes those black lined eyes grow wide. "Oh shit… Hank plays your stuff all the time… Man… small world. I wonder if he'll even believe me when I tell him I ran into you here."

"Hank and I are buddies" Alison grins. "He even made me a portable sound system for me to use on stage. He's so clever, it's amazing." A disbelieving look across the table. "Oh please, you would have people chatting you up all the time. You're gorgeous." She looks towards the crowd on the dancefloor. "Okay, show me what your type is."

Noire Addams's cheeks flush deeply as her hand tucks some of her dark locks behind her ear, "I guess… I.. don't really think I am gorgeous but thank you. And type? Oh I…" She nervously laughs a bit before she realizes she is serious, "oh wait… you really are asking. Well… that is a bit complicated. As I never really dated or anything. I mean sure I read /a lot/ of romance novels but that doesn't mean I have a type or anything. I mean who has a type when they barely dated right? Or should I have a type?" Her pale cheeks flushing all the more as she brings her drink to her lips, imbibing deeply.

"I only meant physically" Alison smiles warmly to the nervous Noire. "Is there anyone who interests you just by looking at them, who then has you wondering what they are like personality wise? You'd like to know them better kind of thing." She shrugs. "If not, that's cool. Though if you read a lot of romance novels, there must be something that rocks your world. A combination of who you read about?"

Noire Addams ohs softly before she laughs, "Oh well.. I mean I like people your height or taller and a bit strong. Perhaps has a certain… unique allure? It is hard to explain, I guess. And well… I often read about… man then is embarrassing…" She laughs softly.
