"Sooo… I was thinking we should get Eve a present!" Harley skips as she clasps her hands behind her, walking at a cheerful gait, almost skipping as she makes her way toward the entrance to one of the larger New York City malls. Blue eyes remain trained on Ivy as pigtails bob. She's put on actual jeans and a real t-shirt for once, nothing overly strange, and would manage to pass for normal in most crowds if not for the excitement bubbling up inside.

Harley hasn't been allowed in a crowded public space in quite some time. A visit to the mall is exciting. It's new. It's… Surprisingly tame, so far. Thirty seconds in.

Pamela grins, wearing a light green turtleneck as well as blue jeans, glancing around, "That's an excellent idea. Eve's a good friend, so we should definitely get her… something." She glances back at Harley, one brow arching a bit as she realizes Harley is waiting for the pitch, so… "What did you have in mind?" And then she smiles, noticing that Harley has been keeping eyes on her it seems.

"Well! Her apartment needs some… Colour," Harley replies sweetly, arching her back slightly as she draws her arms to their full length, fingers laced. "We could do some decorating! … Or maybe get her a puppy. Everyone loves puppies, right? Right. Or actually, I guess we could maybe-" Harley is going to set into rambling nervously about possible gifts ranging from wall spanning posters to replacing Eve's furniture in the middle of the night. Of all the ways Harley might freak out in public this is… Rather normal.

Pamela smiles and leans in, giving Harley a light peck on the cheek, "I think decorating is a lovely idea. She and I do have very similar tastes, after all, so…" She hmms, "Though perhaps something to do with plants? Maybe some metallic vine wall hangings?"

"-Or maybe we could try filling the freezer with ice cream, or…" A beat. "… Wall viness? Huh." Harley pauses for a second and then takes a deep breath. "Okay. That sounds nice… Oh. And, um. We need to buy some popcorn too."

Pamela nods, "Well, of course, popcorn. As long as it's caramel corn. Or perhaps cheddar." Because Ivy has standards, you see, as she smiles at Harley, "So, um…" She pauses, as if not quite sure how to continue, before she says, "You like crashing at Eve's place then?"

"I'm, um. Trying to figure out how to live with people, you know? My therapist thinks it's good for me. Having a roommate?" Harley flashes Pamela a quick smile before glancing toward the ground between them. "Eve's nice. I think we're getting along really well! How are things coming along with your, um, work?"

Ivy smiles, "Pretty well. Had an idiot hothead show up to try and burn my plants, so I dunked him. Which was fairly satisfying." She chuckles, "But, well… it's just me out there. By myself. Alone, with the plants of course." She glances back at Harley, and gives her a smile.

"Muswt be nice to get a little bit of peace, right…?" Harley returns tht smile rather sheepishly. THen she takes a deep breath. "I mean. You always said you wanted peopleto leavey ou and your plants alone, right? Is that mostly happening? Other than that asshole you just mentioned, I mean." Harley is squirming. A lot. But she does smile at Pamela regardless when she looks up at all.

Pamela chuckles, "Well, hey, I wouldn't mind having a certain someone over more often. Or like… all the time. When she was ready, anyway." She grins over at Harley, "Never wanted to be one to apply pressure or anything. Just so she knows that there's always a place for her there."

"Wait. …WHo?" Harley fixes Pamela with a suspicious stare, but it quickly turns into a grin. "Just kidding! I, um. I'd like to come over all the time too. Maybe after I get used to being around people and stuff, I can come stay more often? I think I need to be in the city. ANd just try to… Figure out how to cfope a bit first. You know? Just so I can prove I can do it."

Pam grins, "I understand, Harley. No rush at all, just know you've always got a place with me if you want it." She sidles over and slips her arm around Harley, looking around, "So… if I were popcorn in this mall, where would I be?"
