Robbie Reyes dropped Hellfire.

Hellfire grows ears and can now hear.

Siffror's attempts to bring the Lifeless Realms to Earth have had effects on earth. Illyana was looking into one such possible case here in Chinatown, but it turned out it was just some wanna be demonic sorcerers that had managed to get ahold of some artifacts that were putting out a magical pulse that got her attention.

Since that was luckily a washout, which meant Siffror wasn't getting another foothold in but unluckily meant she'd learned nothing new, Illyana decided to drown her sorrows in dumplings. She's got a takeout box and some chopsticks and has found a spot to sit down that lets her watch the people as they walk by. Peoplewatching has always been a hobby of hers, and gives her something to do as she eats and thinks.

The leather-clad blonde stands out, both because of her metal-slash-goth attire and the disturbing aura she tends to give off that has people giving her a wide berth. She'd attract more attention, except that aura also has most people not wanting to pay too much attention to her.

Robbie was just walking down through Chinatown. His hands were in his leather jacket's pockets and his mustache and goatee were a little bit thicker. But in the fashionable sense, not the macho-gracho kind of sense. With that being said, Robbie notices the Demon Queen as she apparently chomps down on some dumplings.

Perhaps they were hunting the same creature?

"Illyana. Fancy seeing you here." Oh yes, he has not forgotten that she sicked the supernatural police on him.

Pale blue eyes shift towards Robbie as he gets closer. Even before he greets her. To someone sensitive to the magical, it's hard for Robbie to hide. He's like a burning flame (pun intended) amidst the shuffling shadows. Illyana's chewing slows and she looks him over and then shifts the container she's holding out towards him. "Dumpling?" Offering to share, apparently.

It's unlikely she was checking to see if Robbie was carrying a weapon. She knows very well that he *is* the weapon. She was looking to use him as her weapon, after all. If she's hunting something, it is the most relaxed hunting evar. Her expression is calm, that cold, pale gaze steady.

Robbie looks at Illyana as she looks up at him. Oh, well, since she's offering dumplings, he'll just kill her last. What a nice deal. Robbie does accept the dumpling and he eats it normally, but as for a weapon, he probably has the Hellfire chain stashed on him -somewhere-, but he doesn't look like he's going to be using it.

"Hunting?" He asks her in a straight, deadpanned tone. Robbie probably infuriates her, being an independant weapon.

Illyana Rasputina doesn't really mind Robbie being independent. She never really tried to put a leash on him, even if she was going to set it up so it *looked* like it. That was just a bonus, though. Between him showing up in Limbo, and being so agreeable, she likely could have roped him into being his. He would have fought it tooth and nail, but that's how most people are when they've signed on to a demonic pact.

The blonde tilts her head to the empty spot on the bench beside her, since it doesn't look like Robbie is in a hurry. Her attention moves back to the container and she pokes about a bit with her chopsticks to find the dumpling she wants. "Investigating. Or, I was." She takes a bit, chewing, and then quirks a brow at him. "*You* hunting? If it's for the coven that was supposedly summoning demons, they're really not. Seriously, who thinks you can get real Ritual out of a book from your public library?"

Robbie looks at Illyana for a solid moment before he takes a seat beside her. He slightly leans forward so he can rest his forearms on his knees. A self-discipline very evident in the way that he sits that hides a deeper focus. Either way, even if Illyana made it -look- like the Goddamn Ghost Rider was at her beck and call, Robbie probably would've given her a very hard time.

Cue 'You don't Own Me' on repeat.

Robbie then turns his attention to Illyana when she asks him if he's hunting. "Practicing either way you look at it. Imagine if they actually got a real spellbook."

The blonde's gaze shifts back to the people that walk around, some in a hurry and others with their attention glued to their phones. She tracks a couple that walks together, talking and laughing. "Takes more than the book. Besides, I already did the 'scare them straight' routine."

Illyana's attention drops back to the container, fishing out more dumplings. "You're quite." She observes. "Comparatively." He's been much more chatty the last few times they've met.

And Illyana *did* make it look like the Ghost Rider was hers, and Robbie never said boo about it. Maybe it was too subtle for him to really notice it, but there'd been whispers in some of the demon circles. Upside for Illyana, the Rider isn't known to be real talkative.

Robbie looks at Illyana as she apparently already did his plan for him. Little brat! How dare she!? Eh, he's not even upset about it. But when she tells him that he's being comparitively quite compared to their last meeting, Robbie takes a deep breath.

"Probably because I'm still debating whether or not to throw you out a window for sicking the magic police on me."

Robbie was straightforward. They lookedl ike they had full intention of taking Gabe away from him, despite them telling Robbie that they weren't….but Robbie ain't dumb.

He knows when some suits are trying to look into something like domestic violence or terror. Robbie doesn't have theh eart to even think about doing that to Gabe.

"So, care to explain." he looks her sharply in the eyes then.

Small grooves appear in Illyana's forehead as she looks at Robbie, confused. "Magic police?" Her gaze flicks back and forth a bit between Robbie's eyes and then she blinks, expression slipping to one of mild surprise. "Oh. Right. WAND." Given Robbie's potentially fiery temper, he might be ready to throw her out a window for forgetting! Admittedly, first he'd need to drag her to a window. "I sent *Koa*. I wasn't sending WAND. But, I can see how it'd be hard to see a difference. Especially if he was being all Mr. Professional."

Illyana leans back, putting the chopsticks in the container and offering the whole thing over to Robbie. She's apparently done. But she isn't done explaining, which is probably good. Robbie wasn't likely satisfied with that explanation. "I was talking to a friend about you, and Gabe came up. He was worried about what kind of danger you being… you would have on him, especially since he's so young. Which… didn't really occur to me? But, like I told you, I have some issues with connecting, or caring about people. So I asked Koa to get a read on the situation, because I trust him."

"And did your friend tell you that he decided to bring his partner, who tried to talk with Gabe? She tried to make nice. I don't want Gabe to be a part of this life. I want him to live a normal one…and if I can get rid of Eli in the process, then all the better." But clearly, Robbie is very upset.

"And you didn't think to ask first before you sent the suits? What if I was not home? What if they decided to take Gabe right there and then?" Robbie looks atIllyana. The blood that would be on Robbie's hands if Gabe was ever taken…

"Clearly, you don't trust me with my own damn family."

Speaking of 'friend', it's of course at that telling moment that Caden Pryde wanders down the street with his own takeout box and a bag under his arm with the cheerful logo on the package proudly proclaiming, 'Sho Xang's Take Out! We Deliver Anywhere in Manhattan!' which is quite the claim, but then revealing that it doesn't saw how 'long' it takes.
He doesn't exactly stand out in the crowd, to be fair. Semi-tall, fairly rumpled, a little harried looking as he walks and wanders through the crowd. He catches sight of Illyana easily enough since she _does_ stand out in a crowd what with the 80s hair band chic. Of course he espies Robbie, but doesn't recognize him.
Though as he gets closer he hears a snippet of the conversation and likely conclusions are drawn. So he ambles up, taking a place at Illyana's side and says, "Hey, they were all out of that sauce you like." Then he offers his own greeting, "Hey man." Letting him see if his arrival changes the tone any.

Partner. Koa has a partner? Again it takes Illyana a moment to remember this other side of Koa and Keiko's lives. The idea of 'suits'. "Keiko? I think she's more like his proby or something. She's my niece's mother." Illyana continues to watch, and listen to Robbie, much more calmly than he clearly is. That she's being serious though, would be a warning sign to some.

"If you weren't home, they'd have come back when you were? Robbie, the only way Koa or Keiko would take someone from their family is if they thought there was an immediate danger. And Koa's *good* at knowing if there's a *real* danger. Would you really want someone to stand back and do nothing if they thought Gabe needed help?" That's a double-edged sword of a question, isn't it?

The angry statement has Illyana sighing softly. "I did it because I don't trust *me* with making decisions about other people."

It's on that note that Caden joins her, the blonde offering him the faintest of smiles. That she doesn't get her sauce gets a mildly uncharacteristic dismissive wave. Illyana can usually be pouty when she doesn't get what she want. "Robbie, this is Caden. Caden, Robbie. He's thinking about throwing me out a window. Which is ambitious. I mean, traffic is at least right *here*." She gestures towards the street.

Robbie keeps his attention on Illyana. "So you didn't trust yourself in lettimg me live peacefully with my brother? Am I understanding that right?" Robbie seems to continue trying to circle the argument around so it all comes back to 'Illyana Rasputina fucked up'. But Robbie eventually just shakes his head.

"See, YOU know Koa. I don't. For all I know, he's got plans. If Gabe needs help, I'LL help him. If I'm not there, then help Gabe. But don't you dare try and 'help' him get away from the only family he's got."

Robbie is clearly quite angry and may not be thinking rationally. Then there's Caden.

Robbie looks at the seemingly friendly fellow and he narrows his eyes. "Hi."

Robbie definitely doesn't know this guy, but Illyana is good with introductions. "Not leaning either way at the moment, in her case. Still deciding." Robbie says in a grim tone. "Nice to meet you, ese."

The brown-haired X-Man with the inquisitive smile looks back at Illyana, then to Robbie. His head tilts slightly at the revelation of possible defenestration and then his eyes light up a little with recognition.
"Oh hey, Robbie." Caden shifts his load to the other arm and says levelly with a smile reaching his features. "Illyana told me all about you." He offers that hand forward as if this were just a casual meet and greet.
"I'm afraid it was kind of my concern that got things rolling since I heard about it all in the abstract and, well." He tilts his head a little to the side, his expression a touch apologetic but his words making it seem that that might not be entirely so. "The particulars of the story did give me pause. M'sure you could understand that."

"I didn't trust myself to help him if he needed it." Illyana clarifies. "I don't know Gabe. I don't have any emotional attachment to him." Sure, she gave Robbie the charm to help keep bad things away from the boy, but that was because Gabe was something Robbie cared about so she figured it would mean something to him.

When Robbie says HE doesn't know Koa, Illyana gives him a mildly amused look. "I thought I'd made it clear, it's pretty much all about me. And *I* know Koa." Her casual, almost flippant manner is familiar to Caden. It makes it so much easier to not care about people if they push you away, and Robbie's anger makes that easy to goad. "And he said Gabe should be fine with you. So, case closed as far as I'm concerned."

Illyana rolls her gaze over at Caden as he mentions she's told him all about Robbie. Which, she kind of has. And then he goes and brings up that he was the cause of Illyana sicking the Magic Cops on Robbie. She gives a small amused huff and leaaaans back to watch. There might be fireworks incoming…

Did someone mention fireworks? Cue yet another person wandering up the street.

This one is shorter, only about 5'3". Black hair, green eyes. Maybe 20 years old. She looks like the girl next door, dressed in a pair of jeans with a green t-shirt. A denim jacket over the top of the shirt. Her feet are hidden in a pair of sneakers that look pretty new except a split in the front of each one that have stray strings hanging out of them.

She has a box of her own, the top folded open as she digs with chopsticks inside. Shrimp Lo Mein was her choice and she draws up some noodles with the chopsticks and takes the mouthful, slurpling noisily to draw them in.

She is chewing as she joins the small gathering, saying nothing but giving a glance to Robbie. Those that can sense a predator might realize there is more here than meets the eye.

Robbie looks at Illyana and he seems to almost growl. Or grunt. "Doesn't change the fact that you made the attempt in the first place." Robbie seems to be heated at the moment, but he lets the matter drop. Then Caden mentions that Illyana told him about Robbie, and that it was Caden who spurred the start of this whole thing.

If Caden was seeking understanding, Robbie gives Caden a look that basically screams 'Target Identified, prepare for immediate termination.'

"Stay the fuck out of my business." Robbie says to Caden with a look of no-nonsense. He seems to have a look of understanding though, when his features finally soften. Doesn't mean he's happy about any of it though. Then there's Laura.

Robbie looks at her and there's a look of suspicion there. But Eli isn't getting fired up, so she's probably safe for the moment from conflict, and so is Robbie for that matter. But a hunter knows a hunter when they see one…

"Well," Caden says casually, overly so. "It's more your brother's business right?" The anger in Robbie's manner sort of feeds a bit into Caden's already somewhat unflattering perception of things as he leans forward just a little, the bag of Chinese food rustling slightly.
Though he likely expects that first sortie to cause a little rise from Robbie he pushes on in a way that makes one think he'd imagined talking to the Ghost Rider before actually having met him. "I mean, hey. Think we all here sorta understand."
Then a glance over as he interrupts himself, "Hey Laura."
Before he looks back to Robbie, "That sort of need to have someone to look to for some light in the darkness." He pointedly hands the bags of food to Laura as if expecting her to take them from him as he rounds back.
"But then again we all also know that the main thing we should think about is the safety of our loved ones and if our junk comes home how it might affect them."

Illyana has the take-out container sitting on the bench between her and Robbie, and she leans back to lay one arm across the back of the bench and crosses one leg over the other as she glances between Robbie and Caden. Things aren't *quite* escalating, but they could quickly. At least people are already predisposed to give the area wide berth, but if things start to get more physical it likely isn't enough space.

But it's not like Robbie's a hothead or Caden ever self-righteous, right? Right.

As Laura comes up, Illyana glances her way and lifts a hand in a 'wait' sort of gesture. If a scuffle breaks out, she doesn't want Laura to go in claws-first. Which she can be prone to, to defend a friend.

"It was me talking to Caden about 'staying out of your business' that brought all this up." Apparently Caden really might know a lot more about Robbie than the Ghost Rider would normally assume. "And I told you that I would, if that's what you wanted." She'd also been pondering making that decision for him, but that's kinda par for the course with Illyana.

"Now. Are you actually here hunting anything that needs dealing with? Because we're here. We can help." Illyana's words, as well as offering them up, might catch Laura's attention.

Laura caught the look from Illyana. She doesn't act like she did, playing it cool. As the bag is passed her way by Caden, Laura manages to get her chopsticks into her box o' noodles before she hooks the bag over her wrist. Then she puts it down on the bench near Illyana so she can take up her chopsticks.

For her part, she's a spectator although the attitude from Robbie is noted. Just something to be aware of. Not something to worry about. Yet.

Before she takes another bite though, something catches her attention from the bag. She sniffs the air and then sets down her box, opening the bag and drawing out Caden's container which she opens. She pulls out an eggroll and begins to eat it.

He did give it to her after all.

At mention of hunting, Laura does turn back to the pair on the bench, looking almost…hopeful?

Robbie looks directly at Caden, especially when he leans in just a little bit. If Caden's looking into Robbie's eyes, they seem to ignite with Hellfire. If Illyana is reading body language, Robbie looks like he's about to try and rip Caden in half. "My brother isn't old enough to have a 'business' to tend to."

This is going to go to shit really fast.

When Illyana decides then to ask Robbie if he actually needs or wants help with his specific hunting. "I do not need your help." He seems to almost snap at her. He's angry.

He takes a breath though. If one is paying attention is that….steam? "I'm looking for a demon. takes pleasure in gathering up some youth and feeding on their despair. Likes warehouses and other seemingly abandoned areas. Keep an eye out." He says then, but his tone still pretty much says 'fuck off' to pretty much everybody present except Laura.

He doesn't know Laura, and she's not talking about his situation or his brother, so she's automatically the coolest.

"Exactly my point," Caden goes on as if not even hearing other people, as if this was a thought experiment he was voicing in class. Or in the extra-curricular debate club he was part of. "You look at us here, and you're probably not going to find a better sampling of people who look to their loved ones for some measure of… support, or normalcy in all of the crazy that comes down on us."

"The difference here, though." Caden opens his hands in Robbie's direction, as if trying to convince him. "Is we take the time to think if what we're doing is in the best interest of the people we care about. And if it isn't… well it's only fair we ask them what they want. Can't rob them of their agency right? You have to let them make that decision."
And then he rests his hands on his hips and says, "But a ten year old kid can't do that." He draws that small line in the sand, his position held as he takes a deep breath.
And Illyana and Laura can probably see that look in his eyes. Can recognize it from the time he tried to get into a fist fight with one of the upper classmen over his bullying one of their peers. Or the time he was at the mall and heard one of the security guards call one of their friends a 'mutie'.
But then, as quick as that, he straightens up having said his piece. "Anyways." He then adds, "Don't blame Illyana." Easy as that.

Illyana knows Caden well enough that, for the most part, he likes to engage with his words. Robbie? He's much more likely to use his fists, and he's getting really close to that point. When Robbie snaps at her, Illyana's eyes narrow and there's a brief flash of teeth as her lips skin back a bit. That's way too close to a challenge and those so rarely end well around Illyana.

As Caden starts to wind up towards what is likely going to lead into a Pryde Speech, Illyana rises to her feet, looking down at Robbie as he sits there. It's a small way to appease the demon that scratches at her to put Robbie in his place, which is certainly not a place *Robbie* would agree is his. "Of course you don't *need* our help. Doesn't mean you couldn't *use* it."

Illyana reaches out to put a hand on Caden's shoulder, her thumb sweeping back and forth against his collarbone in a soothing motion. "I made the call and didn't think through that Koa being in WAND would spook him. You don't need to take the heat for me, Caden."

Things are picked up. Fire. Heat. Attitude. Laura drops the eggroll, with a single bite missing, back into the bag. Now her hands are free and she shifts, moving to go around to the other side of the bench closer to Robbie.

Illyana stands, forcing Laura to stop a moment. She frowns darkly because she can sense something. Other. She isn't sure what it is. She sniffs the air again and takes a step around Illyana, giving herself a clear shot at Robbie.

Yet, she waits. Nothing aggressive in her movements or her stance but she is making sure there is nothing between her and him should /he/ take things to another level or step.

Then she speaks for the first time since arriving. "Got somethin' belongin' to the demon?"

Robbie rises up to his feet. He's taller than everyone in the group, his own form of defiance, especially at Illyana when she takes that high and mighty stance that she's so used to taking. "I've told you what you need to know." Robbie tells her then with a narrowed look in his eyes, then he looks at Caden.

"Take your first-year psych-student self-righteous bullshit and tell it to someone who needs it." Yes, Robbie sees fit to throw Caden's words right back into his face. No, he doesn't want to hear speeches. But then Caden seems to come to the acceptance that Gabe isn't anywhere near old enough to actually make his own decisions and Robbie seems to visibly calm down a little bit.

Then there's Laura. Robbie knows body language. He knows when people are about to attack. He's spent enough time around people who would definitely take a crack at him to know. He looks her dead in the eyes. No fear. But the challenge is there for Laura if she wants to take the shot.

"That's why, someone else other than you had to make that call." As for that Caden's willing to leave that there with a small shrug, "But hey." It's at that point he turns his attention sidelong to Illyana and the comforting manner, he grins a little and gives her hand a squeeze before he spreads his hands.
"So yeah, demon hunting." Topic officially changed, at least somewhat feasibly. At least for him. He walks back over to reclaim his bag of Chinese food, though there's a moment of furrowed brow consternation at the eggroll somehow being out of its container and with a bite taken out of it.

Illyana's lips press into a line and she twitches, just a bit as Robbie stands up. She has to look up at him now, but she's used to being short, and she's really good at making it look like she's looking down at you while she's looking up.

When Robbie turns his attention on Laura though, she moves fairly quickly, stepping forward to reach for Robbie this time. When she places her hand on Robbie's arm, it doesn't have the soothing familiarity she had with Caden. Too many damned predators on this street. "She's not going to attack you if you don't swing on her friends. She's fine. Trust me." Illyana's jaw works a bit and then she bites out a single word. Softly. Maybe no one will hear it. "Please."

As Robbie gives her that challenging look, Laura's virtual hackles rise. She has learned though. They instilled in her not to attack unless she or her teammates are attacked first.

Doesn't mean she has to like it.

She holds his gaze, all 5'3" of her, not caring that she is looking up to do so. Her eyes are intense, so much older than the her chronological age. There has been a lot of darkness in her past with the light only appearing in the last few years.

The predator waits. She will let him make the first move. Then Illyana is stepping between them again. There is a soft grunt of annoyance from Laura. All she knows is Illy keeps being in the wrong place. It isn't until she speaks to Robbie, even as Laura is trying to sidestep to get back in the clear, that Laura realizes what she's doing.

The feral woman stops trying to sidestep, allowing Illyana to remain between the two of them as she makes that request on Laura's behalf. The little brunette is still frowning darkly, not liking that Illy feels she needs to be protected, but honoring what it took for Illy to do that.

Caden's impending doom aside, Robbie stares down Laura before suddenly, there's a Demon Queen standing between Robbie and Laura. Does she know something that he currently doesn't. He doesn't read Laura's soul because Illyana is currently standing in his way. Robbie looks at her when she puts a firm hand on his arm.

He hears her words. She asks him not to attack her. Not to harm her.

The word that surprises Robbie in that instant is the word 'please' given like a soft whisper. Robbie only heard it because he's right bloody next to her. But then he turns his attention back to Laura and he takes a breath.

"Fine." He turns from Laura then, the hostility seemingly dying down, at least for the moment. He puts the ball in Laura's court either way, but he seems to not be intending to outright strike at Laura in all his hellish fury.

Of course Illyana knows things that Robbie doesn't! Duh. Sorceress!

Illyana doesn't look *happy* about having said it, but she doesn't try to take it back at all. Her hand on Robbie relaxes a bit and she presses out a long breath through her nose. Not quite a sigh. The blonde turns to look back at Laura and gives her a nod, Illyana's usual version of 'thanks'.

The hand on Robbie's arm pats then, sort of absently, before smoothing down over his leather sleeve. "I'm not the only one that had a messed up childhood." That said to Robbie, she looks back over to Laura. "Robbie's OK. He's mostly dangerous to bad people." Saying that, it makes her think of something. It flickers there, across her face and moves behind her eyes as she looks at Robbie consideringly. But she doesn't want to bring up whatever occurred to her right here and now. On a street in Chinatown where the near confrontation has drawn a few eyes.

"I did what I did, you told me it pissed you off, no one's taking Gabe. We good?" While Illyana may have said 'please' to forgo a fight between the two of them, she doesn't apologize for what sending Koa to check in on Robbie and Gabe.

For her part, Laura is good. She isn't going to attack. It was only to be prepared for defense. When Illyana explains he is mostly dangerous to bad people, Laura's immediate thoughts are to how that might be defined.

From her experiences. For what she has learned being around normal people. She is a bad person. Or was. She frowns a little as that is leading to mental things she doesn't want to consider.

She forces herself to walk to the other end of the bench and pick up her food box again. Since Caden took back his stuff, she was back to lo mein as she popped a shrimp in her mouth with her chopsticks. She wasn't relaxed. But she was trying to be less confrontational.

Robbie looks then at Illyana when she smoothes down his sleeve. It was a calming motion, sure, perhaps even a comforting one depending on how you look at it. He looks up at Laura for a moment as Illyana tries to defend his actions towards Laura.

Despite his ill-temper.

At the question of if they're good, Robbie takes a breath. "Yeah. We're good." Robbie eventually allows to Illyana before he looks at Laura once again, his face apologetic but he doesn't actually say anything to her.

Too prideful.

As Robbie finally puts the lid on what could have gotten very messy, Illyana lets her hand fall back down to her side. "Anyhow. Back to your demon. If you know where it's been or anything, Laura's really good at tracking. If you need that." A pause. "If you *want* that." Illyana gives him a small smirk as she corrects herself for him. She doesn't know everything that Robbie's Ghost Rider can do.

"But if you want us to go, I'll pack us up." Illyana's already looked into what brought *her* here. It was the offer to buy Chinese food that really brought Caden and Laura along with. "But you might want more friends."

Laura catches the look from Robbie. She shrugs. That's about it from her as she goes back to stuffing her face. No grudges, no continuation of drama. If he isn't getting aggressive with her friends, she's just as happy munching on the food that brought her out of the mansion in the first place.

At the mention of the hunt again, she does give a nod to agree with Illyana's point. Yet, she prefers not to speak and keeps her mouth busy with her food instead.

Robbi looks at Illyana for a moment. "If you want to tag along, then tag along." Robbie has pretty much surrendered all thought of doing this alone, even if he actually just wants to do this alone. He looks at Luara when she totally seems completely on board with this whole thing.

"…right." he takes a breath. "Then pack us up. I'll drive." And yes, Robbie is already making his way towards the Hellcharger, perhaps intending for the ladies to follow expectantly.

When Caden notes he's got something that came up, Illyana sends him back to the school with a stepping disk. She could just let Robbie be to brood and kill things on his own… But it's kind of like a 'thank you' to Laura for keeping her own cool if they tag along.

Besides, Illyana and Robbie's encounter so far has been pretty awful and the blonde would prefer not to leave with that memory. Because she's enjoyed Robbie's company, today notwithstanding, and it might be their last if he stays grumpy.

Illyana does *not* loop her arm through Laura's, like she would Caden's. Just offers the tiny woman the rest of her dumplings. Illyana doesn't think she's ever seen Laura *not* hungry. Could just be timing.

Illyana tilts her head towards the black car instead, to beckon Laura along.

She isn't hungry sometimes. Yet, Laura has been on the streets. Eat when she can because never know when the next meal will happen. Although she has been living under a roof for several years now, old habits die hard.

When the dumplings are offered, she takes it and offers a very brief, "Thanks." Then she is digging in the new box, taking a dumpling up with her chopsticks as she follows the pair toward the vehicle in question.

Hopefully he allows food in the car or the drama might start all over again.

Robbie opens the passenger doors for Laura and Illyana. Despite his apparent bad mood earlier, Robbie's still somewhat of a gentleman. If they get into the car, he'll close the doors behind them then make his way towards the drivers seat.

"Figure the hlep would make this go faster anyway." Robbie mumbles lightly as he turns on the engine, the sound is clearly entirely American Muscle.

Looks like the journey is afoot! and yes, Robbie does let Laura eat in the car, as long as she doesn't spill anything.
