Damian had decided to go to the Tavern on the Green. It was a pleasant place to go after performing a large deal of studying and learning, especially with the gen-eds that Damian was taking. It wasn't that they were hard classes, they were just…boring. They didn't challenge his mind really at all.

He did let a certain cat know of his location though, if she had a mind to visit him. In casuals, of course.

He wore a black longsleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, some black jeans and black boots. His emerald green eyes seem to look at his tea, but more like he's in thought.

it might be a trap. That's all Felicia could think about for a long while after she received Damian's message. But if he wanted to turn her in, she reasoned, he'd have done it during any given Bat and Cat chase long ago. She gives the idea careful consideration before finally deciding.

And so, in walks a certain cat. Her silvery hair appearing more blonde than usual, and twisted up neatly with sparkling diamond hairpins. (Surely they aren't real diamonds…right?) Her little black dress has a chest and shoulders, and long sleeves, of sheer black, in contrast to the rest of the opaque dress. With only her decolletage showing through the wispy fabric. Complete with black patent heels, she makes her way over to where the young Robin sits. In casuals, of course.

Felicia always was one to be overly dramatic. Damian would not be surprised if those were real diamonds, though he feels as if telling Felicia about the foolishness of flaunting her prize everywhere. But, he seems to instead smirk when he sees her.

He pushes a chair forward with his foot, his way of 'pulling the chair out' for her and he gives her a nod. "I have to admit, I didn't think you would come. How are you, Felicia?"

"Quite well," Felicia replies with a grin. "Although I have to admit, I didn't think you'd be alone." She smirks, then takes the seat that is /sort of/ offered. "I wasn't positive you weren't gonna be waiting with a bunch of your buddies in blue." Then she smiles. "So this way, we meet on the surface, in daylight. So to speak…" She arches a brow, even if it isn't quite daylight anymore. "And you? How's your evening?"

Damian looks at Felicia as she tells him her concern about him being alone at the moment. Instead, he simply chuckles. "I didn't rat you out then, and though I admit I'm tempted to, I don't believe I will rat you out now." Damian continues to look at her as she smiled at him.

"Interesting jewelry. Might I ask where you bought it?" of course, if they are real, Damian knows she probably stole them. Nonetheless, he seems to be happy to see her. "My evening has been…well, admittedly, boring. Doing studies at the university has taken up a fraction of my time, but at least I am free to do my night job."

Felicia arches a brow. "Well, I /do/ have bank accounts all over the world, Damian," she replies, reaching out to trace his hand with the back of her own. "You know how it goes…see something you can't live without? And if you have the means, why not make it yours?" She winks. "Seems to me like you've experienced that at /least/ once in your life. Otherwise I wouldn't be here right now…"

Damian looks at Felicia as she tries to tell him that she's rich. "Even if thats true, then you shouldn't have a reason." To do what, steal? Well, Felicia's reasons are her own, though she does seem to be a first-rate kleptomaniac. Then she brushes her hand with his.

Damian looks hesitant.

But he'll let his fingers fully extend to capture her own, if she allows it, his eyes never leaving hers for a moment.

Felicia wouldn't expect him to understand. But she does understand his trepidation. Some things, sometimes, don't need to be given voice. Her eyes never leave his, and the faint green sparkle begins to fade into her pale blue eyes. "It's hard, isn't it?" she asks him, her gaze searching his. "It's nothin' for you to worry about, Handsome. I mean…you always catch me, right? No harm, no foul." She arches a brow, but she decides to alter her course.

" How are your studies going, anyway? Hopefully catching me hasn't caused your grades to slip. We can't have your education suffering, now can we?"

Damian looks at Felicia then with a deadpanned expression. "How long do you expect me to tolerate your other activities?" Damian asks her with a serious look in his eye. His job was to stop crime, not encourage it with flirtations but…his own heart betrays him. "I always catch you, then you give me a story to justify the act that the chase was based on." Damian corrects her, but then she alters her course.

But Damian is certainly on the only one that matters to him.

"My studies go splendid. I have a 100 percent in all of my classes." He tells her confidently. Almost like a hidden scoff and a 'this is a given' thrown in there.

"Of course you do. You're perfect. Certainly they can't help seeing that, either." She grins and catches the waiter. "Latte, please. Add cinnamon? Thanks."

Felicia turns back to Damian, regarding him seriously. "I don't want to endanger you. I don't want to make it harder for you. It's unfair of me. Isn't it?" Her eyes are wide. Almost alologetic. Almost…

Damian looks at Felicia and seems to roll his eyes a little bit, but a grin soon follows in a good-natured kind of way. But then they go back into a serious conversation and Damian narrows his eyes at Felicia. "If you didn't want to endanger me, then you shouldn't steal from people with assault weapons. Besides, I don't need the worrying." Damian was always brash and headstrong, which may be a point of certain worry for Felicia.

He sees her eyes widen, apologetic perhaps? Or something else?

"Fair has…little to do with whatever it is that is between us."

Felicia tilts her head, and breathes a laugh, watching Damian as the waiter sets her Latte on the table in front of her. She waits, watching as he turns to go, before she continues. "Fair has little to do with anything in my life, Damian. Never has. But somethin' tells me it never has in your life, either. Capes…" She grins. "Fair never enters into it, for you guys. And in the end, there's nothing in it for you guys. For me, at least there's the thrill." She shrugs. "And now…well, there's a chance you're waiting at the end of that rainbow I'm chasing."

"Thus, it depends almost entirely on your next few words. Think about it…could it work between us? Maybe. But we'd have to trust each other. I don't know if I can fight crime AND date a criminal at the same time, Felicia." Damian looks sad to say these words, but his convinctions are strong. A barrier that Felicia has broken down before, mind…

He touches her hand again. "Life's not fair. If it was fair, perhaps there wouldn't be a need for crimefighters or criminals. We'd both be obsolete."

Felicia laughs at his last statement. She can't help laughing. "If life was fair, we'd be at Disney World, with our two point five kids, chasing the balloon guy through the castle and trying to reassure a two year old that there is really just a person inside Goofy's costume."

Then, Felicia settles back in her chair, entwining her fingers with Damian's as he touches hers. "I need the thrill. You need to chase those who thrillseek. So where does that leave us? Help me find something less objectionable, and maybe something an work, hmm?"

Damian seems to raise a brow at her comedic laughter. "I didn't say anything that was funny." He wasn't insulted, but more like…extremely curious at Felicia's own reaction and actions. But then she mentions Disney World and the children they would've had.

"….Children is a long ways down the road yet." Damian warns her. "I'm uncertain children is even wise, or if our relationship will last, but…" Damian smiles softly then. "It is perhaps, something to hope for in the far future." Amiable, this one. But then she offers that they work through it, and Damian seems to nod.

"I find this acceptable."

Felicia rubs her forehead, and smirks. "I'm not looking for kids, Damian. Just saying both our lives would be mundane and boring if we didn't do what we do. But there has to be some sort of common ground. I'll do my best…" She shrugs. "It's all I can promise. Maybe next time we rn into each other on a rooftop, we'll be on the same side, ya think?"

Damian looks at Felicia and he gives a small nod to her. "Good." He seems to inwardly 'whew' when she admits to that. He didn't want children anytime soon, relationship with Felicia or no relationship with Felicia. "Perhaps. Now then…tell me about your day. You don't come out to enjoy civilization that much, I've come to notice."

Felicia grins at Damian's near-death experience and the relief on his face. "Oh, nothing much. A little of this. A little of that. Ice cream in bed, watching television." She pauses for just a moment and arches a brow. "But I have a bag for you…The First Bank will be glad to get it back." Certainly he'll have heard of the botched robbery, and the robbers that the police caught up with, knocked out cold. But that bag…the bag was missing. "I didn't take it from the bank. Let's say I found it. But you should be the one to save the day." After all, /he/ is the one with a reputation to uphold.
