It's dark already when the belle shows up to knock on the door. There's a bag slung over her shoulder, hair loose and a little windblown, over a sunflower on navy print dress worn with bike shorts underneath and a pair of solid boots on her feet.

Gambit was inside, the lights inside the boat hosue's main floor rooms were on up above the lake water. The staircase up to the main door showed lights behind the curtain covered glass window adorning the front of said door. The tv can be heard on inside too.

After a few moments there's movement, a glimpse of Harvey darting across the floor toward the interior staircase and bounding up them, maybe believing there are monsters at the door!

The lock twists and the handle turns and there's the cajun on the other side. He smiles at her. "Why hello there, Boo." He says, stepping out of the way. "Sashay yourself on in 'ere!"

Rogue laughs, green eyes lighting up at the sight of him. She will slide on past to step inside, her hand tracing along his midsection as she does. She'll set her bag down while he closes the door, before she will lean up against him, arms sliding around his neck before she will kiss him.

The door is closed and a word is about to be spoken by the Cajun when the Belle approaches him and wraps her arms around him for the kiss. He catches up pretty quick to the beat of the motion and is soon to put his hands on her hips and return the gesture in kind, a soft kiss that lingers as long as she desire it too with his stubbly covered jawline and chin, as well as his long hair bangs framing his face, brushing against the sides of hers now.

Rogue will slowly break the kiss, with a soft, smiling sigh. She kisses his chin, smiling. "Hello, handsome." She whispers, lightly flushed. "I've missed you. I don't suppose you'd want to spend the evening with me?"

The Cajun is left just smiling down at the Belle then and he just gives a light left to right shake of his head. "There ain't nobody else in this whole wide wide silly world that I would rather spend da evenin' with, Chere." He says back to her with a deepness to his voice as he's speaking close and quietly to her. "You lookin' quite night t'night too, if I might be so bold as t'say." He reaches up to press his thumb and fore finger to her chin to stroke it affectionately for a moment.

"You're sweet to be so bold." There's something like mischief glowing in her eyes, her hand sliding down over his shoulder, his collarbone, to rest against his chest. There's another soft sigh. "Remy, I hate to ruin all this, but I have to ask. This isn't just casual anymore, is it."

Remy's smile turns into a lopsided grin at her question and for the briefest of moments he tilts his head at her in thought. "Been just movin' at whatever pace you wanted t'move at, Chere. We ain't rushin' if you don't wanna rush. I'm here for good these days…" He glances to the interior of the big boat house, then looks back to her before him. "My life's problems have been wrapped up, far as a bag fulla problems can be wrapped up. This leaves me here, one hundred percent… X-Men don't be seeming t'desire my attention much, so I'm all yours. Much of it as ya want, anyhow, Chere…"

"Remy, I'm being serious." Rogue says softly, her hand lifting to cup his cheek. "See, I'm not a girl to invest her emotions easy, as ya know. I just… well, I want to know that I'm not tossing them away, by giving that investment on you. And me.

"Remy, I'm being serious." Rogue says softly, her hand lifting to cup his cheek. "See, I'm not a girl to invest her emotions easy, as ya know. I just… well, I want to know that I'm not tossing them away, by giving that investment on you. And me. Us. Ya know?"

"I hear ya, Boo." Remy says back to her then as he raises his hand up to cup the back of the one that she places on the side of his face. He offers her another sincere smile, though most seem to not trust anything this man ever says or does, something he's got to deal with in life… always being considered a liar and a cheat. "This is a new kinda life for me, ya know?" He tells her then.

"Domesitcated'n'such. I was raised t'be a tool for a group that didn't care about… feelin's or personal desires. They didn't care about nothin' like that. Even though inside'a me? I cared. I cared about dem things. With you? I found a girl that makes me light in the head, warm in the heart. That tells me that she's the one I wanna be near t'cause she's like a… natural high." He smiles again for her and strokes the back of her hand with his thumb.

Rogue smirks, stealing a quick kiss, before she takes a deep breath and exhales. "No matter what happens, Remy, I will never treat you that way. I will always respect that you have feelings, desires, things you want for yourself. But I.." She ducks her head. "It sounds dumb, but I wanna be your girl."

Remy doesn't let her duck her head, he catches her chin with his thumb and forefinger again and then tilts her gaze back up to him. "You always be that t'me, Rogue." He says to her. "Even if'n you go'n find a reason t'be mad at me, storm outta here and swear me off for forever. I still consider you 'my girl' even then, an' maybe figure we find each other another time when things are right? But now? Things are more right than they ever could be dreamed for. And this? This makes me happier than a turkey alive on the day after Thanksgivin'." Now he's grinning again down at her, stroking her little chin lightly with his thumb. "You gonna get mad at my dumb jokes, that my prediction." He quips then.

"I will only say this once, and I will deny it if you ever tell anyone, but most of your little jokes amuse me and make me smile, Cajun." There's a tiny little shy smile forming now, as she looks up at him. "I just.. well, you had to go and make me catch feelings."

Remy raises his hand up from her chin and points at her nose after hearing this revelation. "I had a feelin'!" He declares then, grinning all big and proud of himself. He then place shis hand down upon the side of her arm to hold it gently. "I like bein' able t'touch ya, Chere. And I promise t'try hard NOT t'upset ya, cause then ya could shut this… defense against your mutation off without even tellin' me, and then… who would feed Harvey?" He smirks to her then before he draws in a deep breath. "So then. This mean we gonna put Remy and Rogue's house on the mail box outside?" Now he's just toying with her! "I got a marker set around here somewhere, wherever I left my Crayolas at…"

"It's enough dealing with you, I don't need you inside my head causing more chaos." Rogue teases him, before she kisses his chin, then brushes one against his lips. "And I would, of course. You think I'd let the little guy suffer?" She grins, before it vanishes, green eyes widening. "You are kiddin', right? I mean, I love spendin' time with you, but I figure you want your space."

Remy just grins at her as Harvey shows up out of no where and is rubbing himself against their legs in a figure-8 style pattern, tail up and his motor rumbling inside of his chest. Gambit glances down at the cat between them. "He heard us talkin' about feedin'im, Chere. Now he's lovin' on us. What a charme'ah." He shows her a grin before he glances to the front door, then back the other direction. "There many whole rooms up there for me to have my space if I need it, I can just hide in one and read my stories. Ya know… Mad Magazines'n such." He looks back to her then and steps closer, vying for another kiss he is. "You stay long as you want, wherever you want… sound good?"

Rogue leans her head back, looking up at him. "You mean that. IF I wanted to move in, you'd just move stuff aside and let me, wouldn't you." She's looking at him like she's puzzled. "He's as much a charmer as his daddy is. Just easier to pick up and tuck under my arm. "

Remy responds to this by reaching down and picking the cat up. He's still very young looking but he's growing up more every day, getting lankier and longer and taller. He holds Harvey up to his chest, and the cat looks up at him, and then over at Rogue. Remy holds up one of his little paws and paws at Rogue with it. "Meow, move in with us, meow." The Cajun does his best little silly cat voice, its either endearing or concerning! He then grins at Rogue whilst Harvey just rumbles away. "You know I wouldn't mind one bit, Chere. This a big place, like I said, plus… hey. It kinda nice'n here. Central air conditioning'n everything." He grins again toward her.

Rogue laughs as she looks at the cat. She will reach out to scritch Harvey behind the ears. She's gone quiet, contemplative. "And what would you say if I said sure, I'll move in?"

Harvey just turns his head into the pettings from the Belle and just keeps on purring, but then… as cats do… he's suddenly flailing and waiting down. Using his back feet he propells himself off of Remy's chest and toward the sofa's nearest arm! He lands and just runs off toward his food dish!

Remy, winces at the cat claws to his chest, but his eyes are on Rogue and he just grins at her. "I'd say that its time then, that we go'n get on my bike… and go buy ourselves a celebratory cake with our names drizzled onto it in sweet delicious icing." He had a hand on his chest from the cat-aftermath, but now is reaching up to stroke some of her hair back behind one of her ears.

"It's a little late to go get celebratory cake. Maybe some popcorn and snuggling on the couch, instead. We can do cake tomorrow, if you're still sure you want me to come move on in here and share your space with me." Rogue says softly.

In trugh, he's already bought her her own towels, blankets, pillows, some spare clothes (guessing her sizes, which he's oddly good at) and a number of other things. He even has a Rogue and Remy set of coffee mugs that are in the back of the cabinet in the kitchen… its possible he's had high hopes for awhile now?

"Oh, it late already… that right." He glances to the front windows. "Well we do the cake thing tomorrow. We do the relaxin' thing t'night?" He takes her by the hand then and will give it a firm and caring squeeze. "Glad you enjoyin' my company enough t'give me this chance, Cheri… I make it worth your while."

"So long as you understand that while I do terribly enjoy your company, some nights I'll want to sleep alone. For my own reasons." She leans up on her toes, a nibble at his bottom lip before she kisses him. "But I want to sleep with you soon. In both the literal and metaphorical sense."

Remy just grins ear to ear for this and he places his hand against his own chest again. "Be still my heart." He says quietly then as he takes her to the sofa and sits with her down upon it there-after. "I will one hundred and ten percent understand that, Chere. People need their space after all. Its how they… ya know, recharge them batteries t'get their motors revvin' up again… And I think I'm all for your motor bein' ready t'rev up, no?" He'll return the kiss to her and moves to put an arm around her shoulders. "You see? I easy goin' when it come t'this kinda livin'. Just so long as we live it t'gether."

She's quiet again, leaning into him under his arm. She's curling up to him, thoughts racing like a train about to jump the tracks. Her head leans in against the side of his chest, letting her eyes close. "Then we'll live it together, and do our best to keep it together."
