The term 'closed set' really only applies to regular people, right? Flash is visiting MJ at work, which isn't too out of the way considering the film's on-location.. er, location, is practically on his doorstep. Flash somehow managed to get past security, probably because he's a known close friend of the film's star, or maybe because he's a celebrity in his own right as a pro football player. The clipboard-wielding fellow keeping out the riff-raff happens to be a Giants fan, because he's awesome like that. Flash may have had to sign an autograph, but that's a small price to pay for access. He finds his way to the edge of the set, where he'll be out of the way, but when Mary Jane has a break in shooting, he'll be easy to spot.

There was a loud scream from the set; and an explosive reaction that's set off along with flying Sparks! MJ comes running out, jumping from the set into a rather large cushion and… "Cut! Take an hour for today! The director calls out, in which MJ Huff's, and is helped out of the fluffy stuff by an extra. "Thank you so much!". She coos, the young man blushing as he runs away, MJ standing and stretching to work out the links in her back as she spots Flash. "Genie!". She calls out, skipping-near running towards him. It was always a treat for someone to visit her, especially now since her schedule was soon to be busy. "Glad you're here! I'm hunnngrrryyy!
*
Flash smiles to MJ as she runs to him. She's the only one who gets to call him that; he hates the name, but for her he'll always let it slide. "I'll bet you are," Flash says, offering her a little side-hug when she's close enough. "Jumping out of windows all day is bound to work up an appetite. Hit up the deli around the corner? Or do they bring in lunch for you on set?" Flash doesn't really know how these things are supposed to work; it's not like this is a cheapo production or anything.
*
"Its actually on set. Come on.". MJ takes Flash by the hand and begins to lead him out of the main area; her hair was a mess, others with fake blood, but she didn't mind it one bit. It was the job. "So..". She starts, looking towards him with a grin. ".. confession. When you were asleep, I put some of that herbal oil on your leg cause I knew it has been bugging you. How did your practice go?"
*
Free food! Flash is down. Money's not an issue, of course, but that hasn't always been the case so his first instinct is, naturally, to go for it. He happily follows along, led by hand, and once the food is in sight his eyes will light right up, because FOOD. "Actually, pretty well. Still aches a bit, but it was feeling better than it had been. The docs still have me taking it easy, but I was able to run a bit today, which felt good." It's not like Flash's recent injury was ever going to be career-ending, but no chances were going to be taken. "They said it should be back to normal in another week or so." He gives her a bit of a grin. "So I wasn't losing my mind this morning when I couldn't figure out where that smell was coming from." There are worse things than getting impromptu muscle relaxants while you sleep, right?

The table was filled to the brim with food; cold cuts, premade salad bowls, fruit and veggies platters, bottles of water, chips that were baked, muffins and donuts.. Everyone was free to eat, though MJ herself picked up a few pieces of fruit and veggies for her own meal. Gotta stay in shape. "Nope! People swear by the stuff. The minty smell alone works. ". MJ mutters. A piece of fruit was eaten, and a thoughtful look crosses her face. "Wait.. did something happen? Is that why you're here?!"
*
"No, nothing happened," Flash says easily as he loads up his plate with.. well, a little bit of everything. Gotta keep up the calories. "Like I said, they've got me on a lighter regimen for the next week or so. I've got some homework, but figured I could afford to take a couple hours off and visit," he explains. "Everything going okay here? No Weinstein-type situations, right? I can still break some arms if anyone's being a dick." He's not shy about the volume of his voice. Flash might be a -tiny- bit protective.

"Oh good.." MJ breathes. There was a natural instinct there to spill all the beans about Peter through all the time, but she keeps it mum. She does listen, bobbing her head to show the recognition of listening, then immediately shakes her head. "No..no.. nothing like that.". She says quietly. "I.. just have a feeling that someone's watching me.". She pauses, then continues, "I thought that if I moved in with you everything would be okay. Even keeping Eddie around..". She shakes her head. "I still feel it. Like, something hanging on my shoulders that's coming to take what's due even though nothing is owed."
*
Flash frowns. He had hoped that her moving in with him would put a stop to all this 'stalker' business, too, and then the added security of her having a personal bodyguard. "How much longer is your schedule here today? I'm happy to hang around and keep an eye out in case of any weirdness," he says, looking decidedly concerned. Overzealous fans are, unfortunately, part of the business when you're in the public eye, but there's a line that shouldn't be crossed; no-one should be made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable, regardless of their social standing.
*
"Ummm.. I think Im here til well after midnight.". She says. "We're shooting everything in fragments. I think we're at the middle of the movie but I've only seen bits of the script. Someone leaked everything to the press.". She shrugs. "They think Im dating three guys! Cheese! I can't even date a calendar!"
*
Flash nods, still frowning a bit. "I can stick around as long as you need me to, Emjay," he says firmly. "I'll stay out of the way, hell, I'll even help out if they'll let me. But I'd feel better if I could keep an eye. If you want me to." He's not going to encroach on her space if she tells him no, but he gets the impression it might help. The comment about her love life draws a bit of a smirk. "You could do a lot worse than an NFLer and the ever-loving Thing, Miss Watson," he jokes. "Not sure how Eddie'll feel about being splashed across the news though.. the rest of us are used to it, at least. Me showing up here and hanging out all day probably isn't doing a lot to put the rumours to rest, either." Not that he minds, himself.
*
"Genie..". MJ says helplessly, "You really don't have to. I'll.. I'll be fine. I promise.". She smiles a little, her appetite already diminished, her plate soon discarded as she takes up a bottle of water. "Besides, you really don't want to be around, they really will put you to work especially if you're offering.". She laughs, then moves in to give him a hug. "Thank you so much though.". The hugbwas hung on to as she kept to the tip of her toes, swaying just a bit.

"Shut up, I'm staying," Flash says with a grin, giving MJ a squeeze in return. "I don't mind helping out. Call me your personal assistant though, so I don't have to get coffee for the studio execs or something," he jokes again. "My resume's a little thin, besides football, so getting some real film set experience can't hurt, right? Or maybe someone'll offer me a cameo. I can be Hunky Corpse Number Three!" He even makes a 'dead' face to drive home the fact that he has little to no real acting talent. Solid plan!
*
MJ reaaaally wanted him to stay. She didn't want to be a burden but it turned out he wouldn't be! She was happy, jumping with her arms around his neck, even planting a big one on his cheek! Even as he pulls off his dead face, MJ mashes and molds his cheeks together, "And you will be the best dead boy out there!". She teases! "I still have a bit of time left! I can show you around!!"
*
Flash grins, and finishes off whatever is left of the food he'd helped himself to. Now at least he'll be earning it, right? Not just freeloading? "Absolutely. Show me the sights, who to avoid, and where to get coffee," he says. He's gonna need coffee, if they're gonna be going until midnight.
