It's been a long night, and it comes to a close for Selina Kyle as she arrives in the Bat Cave, her Batcycle's engine echoing through the cavern before abruptly coming to a stop as she shuts it off. She heaves a short sigh and pulls her goggles and cowl away from her head with one swipe of her hand, shaking her head and her mussed hair before swinging her leg over the bike and walking into the heart of the cave, carrying a small satchel slung over her shoulder. "Honey, I'm home!" She calls facetiously, if a bit tiredly.

"Welcome back." comes Bruce's response. He has his cowl off, and is already preparing for his own end of shift as he gives Selina a slight smile. And then he notices the satchel. "A busy night?" he asks her curiously as moves to stand up to greet her with a quick embrace.

With school out for summer, you would think that Helena would be taking full advantage of the time off to get her fill of vigilantism. But maybe Spider-Man is a good influence. Or something. Because she's already home and in her PJs when the parents get back, though not asleep yet. Just fiddling with uniforms.

"Hey," she calls over, mostly as a warning not to go too far with the PDA. Daughter here!

"Hey there~" Selina purrs, sauntering close to Bruce, putting one hand on his shoulder, and kissing his…

… Cheek very carefully as she hears Helena and straightens up slowly. "Kitten~" She greets with a little finger wave, then nods her head a Bruce's question.

"Little bit." She says breezily, opening the satchel and pulling out a small collection of papers. "Got a chance to poke at the Wakandan embassy, since you asked so nice." she smiles a bit. So rarely does she acknowledge taking orders. But that's just her. "Caught her in a cat costume, it was a little awkward. But she gave me these to pass on to you."

The 'Black Bat' arrives just a few moments behind Selina, pulling off her cowl as she walks in and looking at the group with a face flushed with exertion, but she seems calm, contented. Which likely means things went very well and there are several criminals who got the snot beat out of them and are tied up now.

She makes a face at Bruce, opens up the pack on her utility belt where the zip-tie handcuffs are located, showing that her fill for the night is empty, and clearly she didn't get enough.

Then, she sniffs the air, because - well, all that work? Made her hungry. And who doesn't like the tasty meals here.

There's no food in sight at the moment, but Alfred can easily be brought down with food as needed. "A .. cat costume?" Bruce asks with a lift of a brow. "There was a theft recently by a cat-themed crook. I do not believe it was you." he says to Selinsa with a slight smirk as he loops his arm around her waist - she still makes that suit look damn good as he greets Helena. "How was your evening with Peter?" he asks, before the Black Bat comes in.

As she shows off her wares - or lack there of, Bruce gives an approving nod. "Just to make sure that you balance with some rest as you need to, Cassandra. Don't push yourself too far." he says, concern touching his features.

"No Peter tonight," Helena smirks faintly at Bruce's question. "He's got some final adjustments to make on the new suit that Helena Wayne can't really help out with. But he did agree to come to one of the fashion week events with me. I'm going to raid Dick's old room for a suit and get it tailored."

Talk of Wakanda has her curious again, interest piqued. "Like, ceremonial cat costume or something?"

Selina grins as Cassandra approaches, "Heeyyyy, kiddo; keeping busy?~" She asks, her smile brightening a bit as the empty zip tie pouch is contained. "Good job~" Cassandra's desired reward is not mysterious to Selina, and she nods her head with a smirk after Bruce speaks, "Give Alfred a tug on the sleep, okay? He's usually ready with food when we're all done. Sometimes we even get Bruce to eat it~" She notes, breezily at the end.

She looks at Helena, and her smile turns a bit wry. "More like if I decided to ape Cassandra's mask and go Full Sleek." She says, then tilts her head. "Which isn't the worst idea, but it'd be a crime to cover this face up any more than I do." Selina straightens up a bit and turns to Bruce. "All the stuff on those papers is probably over my head;" She hates to admit it, but Helena got most of the 'science nerd' from her father, "… but she mentioned that fake Vibranium could explode under the right frequency so…" She gives a slightly pained, almost bashful grin, "… maybe be careful if you have any more laying around?"

Cassandra seems appeased at the messages that Bruce and Selina both seem to be sending her. She nods her understanding, before tilting her head towards Helena, curious. And, missing or unfamiliar with some of the cues, perhaps. But she doesn't seem to complain.

She moves over to the apparatus that will let Alfred know they're 'back', and they're hungry. Well, she is, at least. Then, she just gives a rueful sort of smile.

As he accepts the papers from Selina, Bruce starts to look them over. Normally, he would start researching it himself. But he pauses. Something that Helena has said has his interest. "And what type of suit would she not be able to help with that Blackbird would?" Because that was the missing part of the assumption that she didn't insert, but he's offering the papers to Helena as the two of them start to look over the information.

The bell is rung up in the manor to alert Alfred that the assorted menagerie has arrived home and are hungry. "Did you happen to secure teh sample?"

"Inseam measurements," Helena deadpans to her father's question, flashing an oh-so-innocent smile before turning back to fold up her own suit and start putting it away.

Once she has the suit put away, she comes over to get a look at the papers from Wakanda. "Exploding kind of makes sense. Probably reaches a resonant frequency," she muses, already looking for something to support that hypothesis.

Selina smirks briefly at her daughter's interjection, and crosses her arms as she answers Bruce's question. "No. She said she gave it to some 'professor' she knows, and didn't have it back. Kinda what I expected, but…" she shrugs, "I'm not really comfortable having it just 'out there'. Surprised I got even that much out of her, though. She was…" Selina inclines her head, "… Catty."

Cassandra sets her cowl down on it's resting place, then still in uniform moves over to Bruce and Helena to at least look at the paper they're both looking at, curious. Not that she'll ever make anything out of it. She stares at if for a few moments as if giving it the full brunt of her concentration - then expells a breath through her nose, and instead gives them their space back.

There's a quizzical look to Selina, and Cassandra makes a motion to suggest: so just kick her ass?

There's a nod from Bruce, but something has his attention in all of that as he glances towards Helena. He lets out his breath with a sigh. "So, we have a dangerous new metal on the market that's relativity easy to make, from what I studied on it." the oldest Wayne offers with a frown. "We need to keep an eye out for new weapons, and applications that may use this metal as a primary component. Especially militia or gangs that don't care for the legality of it."

A grunt is offered to Selina, "She was more interested in fighting me the last time I saw her. I suppose that explains the costume." But it sounds like he has no plans to take on the young woman himself. He's already done that once, and that's how they ended up with Helena.

"I got the sense at the party that she's ready to take on anyone, costume or no," Helena muses, still looking over the papers. "She was really glad to see me and Kate there. And choosing to set up an embassy here rather than anywhere else says she's looking to make a point."

"What's the status on real vibranium? Any idea how someone got enough of it to test it to come up with this imitation?"

Catwoman nods along quietly before noticing Cassandra, a quizzical look coming to her face before she flattens out her palm and 'whaps' it gently against Cassandra's fist. "Because we don't pick fights with people just for not being nice~" She says, and smiles, "That's a lesson you learn after twenty years or so in a costume~." There's a flicker in her body language that says 'god, I made myself feel old' but it passes. The power of will, or delusion, either way works for her.

Cassandra watches Selina, lets the palm smack against her fist, then, after a pause, nods once. She'll at least acknowledge Selina's understanding, even if she might not agree with it, always. Maybe she needs those twenty years, herself.

She takes up a new position so she can watch everyone, near, and comfortable. She might not understand everything, but she can sense there is an issue, with the same person that Bruce and Selina are talking about - and something dangerous that is being passed around.

"No. But if she's comfortable with you.. maybe we should try a different approach." Bruce muses, as he looks from daughter to Cassandra and then back. "WayneTech has a small supply of vibranium on hand for medical research." It's not something he mentions lightly, because it's a possible threat.

"Perhaps the heir of the Wayne Foundation can meet one on one with the new Ambassador.. with her bodyguard, to discuss future research, and bring up the question of possible fakery." he suggests. "Something along the lines of a fake product had recently turned up there."

"You don't think she'll find it weird or overly coincidental, another person sticking their nose into vibranium right now?" Helena quirks a brow at Bruce. "I mean, I think she's glad to have peers, but I'm not sure if she's so glad she won't question it. Might take some time to warm her up, get a little more…I don't know. Familiar."

Selina nods once, "I'm with Helena on this. If she's half as cagey about vibranium as you said she is… I don't see her spilling much for a nice rich girl, if she's this reluctant about helping *Batman*, friendly as he is."

Okay, she's being a *little& sarcastic.

"Being the 'Princess of Staten Island' can only get you so far with foreign nationals in costumes."

Cassandra, however, seems ready to do her due diligence, and had easily stepped into the role of Helena's personal bodyguard in certain situations where Bruce or Helena had asked for it. And, stepping close to Helena now, she seems more than ready to reprise that role.

"Very well." Bruce knows when an idea is bad, and the flaws in it are exposed. He glances between the three women and lets out a sigh. "Due diligence, though. She could use peerage, as you said. But I will not push anyone. As you said, she is standoffish." There's a shake of his head as the elevator dings, and the doors open as Alfred comes rolling in a tray. "Breakfast was requested?" he asks the small group.

"Was there anything else?" Bruce asks as he prepares to adjourn the meeting for food.

"I'll play it slow, work on it," Helena nods. "Honestly? I might have better luck as Blackbird, playing up the Young Avengers. Bring Rose along. Lord knows, no one is ever going to suspect Rose of subterfuge."

She sets the papers down, smile quirking as Alfred shows up. "Hey, Alfred. Sorry to wake you up."

Selina nods, "Hey don't get me wrong, I'm all for building contacts." She's had a million colorful costumed criminals tell her intrigueing things over the years, after all. Though there's been a few holes punched in her cover over the years. "I just don't need Wakandans knocking on my door to ask why I broke into the embassy."

There's a few holes in her hero persona too!

"Alfred!" She greets cheerfully, "Please feed this girl before she punches someone! It's a reward for…" Selina shrugs, "Punching so many people."

Cassandra looks between Alfred, his cart, and Selina. She smiles when Selina suggests it's her reward for doing what she does so well, and moves to snatch herself a few pieces of sausage, her favorite breakfast food (belgian waffles), and some scrambled eggs off the cart. A quick nod of thanks to Alfred is given, before she finds a place to set the plate down, and dive in, greedily.
