The late afternoon comes with the end of classes in Xaviers, and even those that are prepping to finish High School this year are finishing up. Among those dispersing into the foyer and then the grounds is Chava, the somewhat silent girl that often is seen in either the library in the afternoons as she is to be seen waiting in the hallways that lead to the hangas whenever the Blackbird is coming home. Not that she has clearance to actually get to the X-men base proper, but then again she helps out fixing the costumes usually.

Cessily is distracted, looking over various college pamphlets as she exits concentrating on reading up further on ESU. She'd already gone earlier to a campus visit. A few other local colleges, also, mostly community schools and such, are wadded into her hand on top of her books.

"Oh, hey," she greets Chava, almost bumping into the other girl. "Sorry." She gives a sheepish smile. "You figured out if you're going to college, yet? Or which one?"

The short and sturdy girl stops just in time to avoid the collison before falling in line with Cessily, her things all in a backpack, but it is crammed so full she didn't really close it. Some of the books look suspiciously not like any school books but more the Monster Manuals. "Hey Cessily. Well, I have no idea actually… I mean, comeon, my grades aren't the best, I can't hope to get a spipend with those. And I can't afford to go to college on my own, safe for a student loan, so… yea, no idea. And then I have no idea what to do really. If I can't figure something out, I still can apply to the college classes here and do a Bachelor in Mutant Studies or something…"

"Yeah. There is that. I'm thinking about ESU. Just." She sighs, shrugs, "We'll see. I'm not even sure what I'd go into, honestly. But I should do something," she figures, earnestly. "Thinking maybe something with social work, for other mutants. That sort of thing. But, I still have time to figure it out. First year of college is just all basic pre-reqs, anyways."

"ESU? I would have guessed you were thinking about the Superpowered studies there. I mean, you are on the obvious side of empowered people." Chava replies with a chuckle, tapping her nose as she follows along her fellow student. "Well, that's true too…"

Cessily tips her silvered-head to one side, "I want to help people," she intones, quietly, with a half-smile and a shrug. "So, I'll figure it out. Probably should sit down with Jean or Kitty, maybe Piotr, and figure it out for a counseling session, get some guidance. But, I'm not in a hurry, I suppose."

She stuffs the pamphlets back into her bag, "I'm sure you'll figure something out yourself. There's the community colleges too, and you get get loans, or whatever. You could probably even make your own clothing line, get rich. Go into fashion."

The shorter girl nods and points over to her silver classmate. "You know, that's a good idea I guess. Asking those Alumini… or the Professor. They have a better view on this."

Chava chuckles as Cessily mentions a clothing line. "That's what I do to get my pocket money anyway. Well, Cosplay stuffs. But isn't it immoral to use powers for personal gain, as the Prof said in some lecture? I mean, ok, I could do it, but not everybody is as flexible as you and can get into a suit without a zipper, buttons and seam without problem."

"Who said you'd be using your abilities?" Cessily asks, quietly, curiously. "You clearly have a knack for clothes. You have a good eye for it. Seems a natural fit. But, I could be wrong," she agrees, with a small smile, looking sheepish again.

As Chava mentions her ability to 'fit into any suit' Cessily wrinkles her nose some, "It's not quite like that. I'm always me. Unless I'm not. I can't change /my/ shape. It's kind of like a default setting, I guess."

Chava shrugs a little. "Well, I do work on props without usually, doesn't really work on EVA-foam and such. But costumes and dresses are quite a lot faster to do with them… I mean, no cutting, no pinning, no folding, no trying on. Just you standing there and getting it all tailored right to the body. Exhausting, but done in at worst an hour."

"Well, I never said you fit into all, jsut you can dress and undress without zippers and buttons. Heck, I could remove all the openings but the neck on a catsuit and you'd still be able to get it on and off without a hitch."

Cessily frowns, "I suppose. But I wouldn't want to," she says, without going into the matter further. She nods, "But other people do need to have their abilities taken into consideration," she agrees.

"Well, whatever you decide, Chava, I hope you're happy with it. Heck," she argues, "Maybe you could do something like help create new fabrics, and make costumes, or better costumes, for heroes who need that sort of help. So you'd be helping people, and making enough to get by too? Just another thought, if you didn't want to go into fashion design."

"Well, yea, if it's bothersome it's bad enough." Chava considers on the costume problem she had brought up herself. "Sure I could work out on costumes. It's a little cheesy, but I have been working on fixing stuff like that up already… But staying on the sidelines… Comeon, I know I can do better than that. I just need to get a chance…"

"Well, you could always ask for some additional training," Cessily suggests, helpfully. "Most of the instructors are pretty helpful with that. I know I had my fair share at first. Still get some, on occassion." Like, in the Danger Room sessions.

"I'm sure they'd let you do extra practicing, and training, no problem. Though, with finals coming up, might be tough to work in until the semester is over."

"That's a new idea… I mean, why didn't I ever think of that yet? I just relied on the tryouts and a spot opening up…" Chava admits, shrugging. "Anyway, joining game night tomorow?"

"Maybe. Might be doing something else, but if I'm not, sure! But, I suppose if I can give you one piece of advice, it's that if you want something, you have to be motivated to get it. You have to ask, pester, and show interest." Cessily half-smiles, shrugs, and then notes, "If you wait for something to come to you? You'll be waiting a long time."
