It's not exactly the sort of place Sarah usually frequents. But the skylights attracted her attention from the air, and now that she's inside, she's finding it suprisingly relaxing. It's been….well, it's been practically never since she's been to an actual club. Hiding out and being practically imprisoned in a government "school" hasn't exactly allowed her a lot of time to socialize.
Thus, while she's come in, and she's found a table to sit at, she's really not sure what to do next. She's sort of hoping by the time she finishes the strawberry margarita she's sipping, she'll have an idea if she wants to risk the dance floor.
Fancy, different and flashy…this wasn't the sort of bar that Dinah tended to frequent all that often either. Most of the time nostalgia took her back to places like Farrels where friends and family might be spotted or at least the sorts of clubs and such she'd perform at first before securing at least a little drink for the road. Today? Curiousity had gotten the better of her. Venturing into the club, Dinah was wearing her usual leather jacket over a simple black shirt and leather pants. Looking more like a biker than someone out for clubbing, but then both are probably close enough to the truth.
It's towards the counter that the blonde is headed, her gaze sweeping the space. No familier faces here, but that hardly mattered. Of course her gaze passes over Sarah, but she's not going to divert to a total stranger just yet.
Dinah's arrival does stir Sarah out of contemplation of her drink, her dark eyes following the blonde and…well, running down over the figure in question, a bit admiring as she walks up to the bar. She's hardly the only one, of course, but her gaze at least flicks back up towards Dinah's face pretty quickly as she watches her curiously now. She looks pretty badass, after all. She's sort of wondering what she's doing here, as people are wont to do when people watching. Meeting a boyfriend? Girlfriend? Taking a break from riding some sort of sexy bike around town? Out for a wild night on the town?
She'll admit picturing that is a bit hard for her, as she hasn't actually SEEN what it's like to have a night on the town in the big city, so to speak. But she's darn curious now.
There's no glance towards the door to suggests that Dinah's meeting or waiting for someone. Only a little gesture with her hand to get the bartender's attention before she places her order. She turns, leaning her hip against the counter before she looks towards the dance floor. Contemplation crosses her face, but it seems she lacks the motivation just yet as much as Sarah.
By chance or glance, her head turns towards Sarah to catch that stare, earning a tilt of her head and a flash of a smile in greeting from the blonde.
Sarah blinks a bit, though she meets Dinah's eyes directly, getting just a faint flush as she's caught starting, but recovers, raising her drink in a little salute to the blonde bombshell by the bar. An offer to join her, perhaps? Or politeness, or a bit of both, as the young Apache woman seems certainly interested in doing more than staring.
Why the hell not? With glass in hand she makes her way over towards the table and tilts her head to the side. Drinking alone at the club might as well be drinking at home alone, and that kinda defeated the purpose! Towards the table, Dinah's path comes to an end as she takes a seat and tilts her head to the side. "Hoping you wanted some company," she greets as she sips from the cocktail she'd purchased, "otherwise? I'm completely crashing your peace and quiet. As much as it's possible to have here anyway…"
The native girl smiles a bit, leaning back a little. "Feel free….I'm here by myself today." she admits. "And I've never really been in a club like this so…it's a little intimidating, I'll admit." she says with a little sigh. "I'm Sarah…nice to meet you." She takes a little sip from her margarita as she grins. "If nothing else, maybe it'll fend off a few of the guys in this place to have some company."
"Me neither if I'm honest," Dinah nods, setting her glass down and lazily tracing her fingertips down the stem. "Usually it's more…dive bar, pool table, that sort of thing. But it looked a little different so. Y'know, 'why not?'" she shrugs lightly. "Dinah," the introduction comes in return before the blonde bombshell gives another wave. "Here's hoping. The guys here not your thing or just not what you're out and about for."
There's a flicker of suprise in the Apache girl's eyes as she bites her lower lip. "Ah….first. Not my thing." she admits. "That doesn't bother you, I hope? I mean…I wans't just trying to hit on you or something, it's just…I really don't know anyone here." the teen admits.
The suprise, the lip bite, all of it just gets a smile from the blonde who shakes her head. "Bother me? Not at all." Another sip of her drink and Dinah's shoulders just give yet another shrug. "I've got no problem in keeping someone company, could probably use some myself." One more sip and her smile takes on a little flick of a smirk. "Besides, you never know what someone else's 'thing' is without trying your luck."
