Background

Born on Vanaheim and raised on the golden realm of Asgard, Sif expressed her desire to learn the skills of the warrior from a very young age and proved to be a diligent student by learning her lessons quickly and well. Her determination and perseverance earned her the respect and friendship of some of her peers, though of course she gained rivals as well. She was by no means blameless in the mean-spirited pranks played back and forth amongst her friends and her rivals, and they escalated to dangerous levels. One particularly excessive prank resulted in Sif's long golden curls getting sheared off and replaced with coal black waves. To this day, Sif still regards that particular rival with suspicion at best.

Now recognized as one of Asgard's elite warriors, Lady Sif regularly fights on the behalf of the royal family, and to further prove her loyalty to the crown has relocated to Midgard. She's still trying to find her bearings on this bizarre, heavily populated realm. At least no one here seems likely to question her hair color.

Powers

Aesir Physiology

Being native to the realm of Asgard, Sif has the corresponding strength, constitution, endurance, and rapid healing common to all Aesir. This also means she ages extremely slowly compared to humans. Quantitatively, she can lift up to 30 tons, withstand strenuous situations (like combat) for up to 24 hours before exhaustion sets in, withstand 3 times the blunt force trauma that a human would due to having three times denser skin and musculature, weighs 3 times that of a human of similar stature, heals injuries 24 times faster than a human (a cut that would take a human 14 days to heal would take her 14 hours), and ages 100 times more slowly than a human (when she reaches 3000 years old she will be the physiological equivalent of a human 30 year old). Allspeak

Another perk of being Aesir, Sif has the Allspeak at her disposal, allowing her to speak and comprehend any spoken language on any of the Nine Realms. This does not, however extend to written or non-verbal languages such as sign language.

Skills

Swordswoman

Sif is one of the most skillful warriors on Asgard. She is highly proficient with a wide variety of bladed weapons, though her specialty and preference is swords like the dual-ended weapon she typically carries.

Brawler

Sif is equally skilled at bare hand combat, and is known on Asgard for her wrestling prowess, defeating almost all male Aesir warriors.

Advantages

Asgardian Embassy

Currently residing in the Aesir Embssy on Midgard, Sif doesn't have to worry about housing or income unless she actually wants to. One perk of being amongst Asgard's most noteworthy warriors.

Aesir Loadout

Sif has sword, shield, and armor of Aesir make, as well as a number of more easily concealed smaller blades. They aren't the starmetal Uru like Mjolnir, but they are of crasftsmanship superior to that of most anything made on Midgard.

Flaws

Chip on Her Shoulder

Having grown up as a female in a heavily male-dominated warrior culture, sift is understandably a bit … reactive to people trying to treat her like delicate flower or 'mere woman'. She can and she will prove that if she's a flower, she's a rose with ALL of its thorns intact and very much ready to stab someone.

Brunette in a Realm of Blondes

As the result of a childhood rivalry, Sif's hair is coal black instead of the golden blonde she was born with. This makes her particularly memorable on Asgard, but not always in a good way. Maybe the Midgardians won't make as much of a fuss.

Straight out of Medieval Times

Asgard doesn't have technology. Magic is the order of the day there. With that in mind, Midgardian tech is brash, loud, and close to incomprehensible to Sif. Though, she might be able to pick up a few basics if someone bothers to instruct her.
