Fey Blood: With the awakening of his powers Cain's latent fey blood was brought to full flower. Though not immortal he will live a very long time, his aging greatly reduced though this is not something he's aware of yet. It is very possible Cain might well live for centuries or even longer. Thanks to his fey blood he can sometimes sense glamours and other fey magic or creatures. Unfortunately he has no training with these abilities and has no idea explaining how and why he sometimes sees some very odd things indeed. Fey blood also comes at a price, as a fey creature there are magics that can bind him or his powers, and wards that can hedge him out. In addition the touch of iron robs him of his powers and can poison him. Weapons of cold iron are able to bypass all his defensive abilities and inflict agonizing wounds comparable to burns or advanced frostbite and heal very slowly if recovery is even an option.
Quickling Faerie: Cain's body is adapted to high speed in a myriad of ways, big and little. First, his mind and senses can process information at vastly increased speeds commensurate to the speeds he's capable of moving and thus can interact with his environment normally at such speed. While moving at high speeds his body inherently and automagically generates a protective energy field about him that shields him from the harmful effects of high speed movement such as adiabatic compression, friction, and especially G-forces. Physically his body is also adapted, his nervous system effectively composed of super-conductive material, his muscles and tendons reinforced, and his dermis highly resistant to impact or ballistic trauma sufficient to render him effectively as bulletproof as someone wearing kevlar body armor. Cain can lift five hundred pounds overhead in a military press, and has sufficient stamina to operate at peak efficiency for several hours without difficulty. Cain has a nearly perfect sense of balance.
Super Speed: Cain is unsure of his maximum speed, he has learned he can sustain speeds of about five hundred miles per hour for about three hours tops, roughly equivalent to that of a commercial jet. He could therefore run from one end of the US to the other in just over five hours moving from New York to Northern California, though he'd have to stop to rest along the way, crossing north to south he can manage in one trip, but only just, without stopping. He can accelerate to this speed in a bit less than one second, pulling about 23Gs when so doing. Cain can complete tasks about a hundred times faster than a normal person could, all things being equal.
Cyclone: By rapidly rotating his arms or digits, or spinning in place, Cain can create cyclone effects of varying size and effectiveness. A finger might create enough push to snuff a match, or blow some papers about, his hand perhaps enough to knock a grown man off his feet, and one or both arms working together to down power lines or shove or deflect a moving car several yards. While spinning place he can actually create an affect akin to a miniature tornado, with a maximum height of some thirty feet and aperture at the top of the cone of half that. This protects him from many types of missiles, and can be used to either draw things in, or push them away as desired and may with care allow him to slow or even stop an object or person which is falling.
Hyperpunch: Cain can break the sound barrier with his punches, they can deliver enough force to move a 100 ton locomotive just under a foot if he winds up for a haymaker. He can also flurry, throwing many punches that individually deal considerably less impact but still sufficient to rupture cast iron. Flurried punches can be spread out over multiple opponents, or concentrated on a single target.
Phase Shifting: Vibrating his molecules, Cain can effectively pass through solid matter, though this can be very dangerous for him. If his vibration is stopped and any part of him is still intermingled with something else the results will be catastrophic - injuries will be massive, and if enough of his body is comingling at the time, he could very easily die immediately from the damage. Even if the damage isn't sufficient to kill Cain outright the shock and pain very well might do so anyway and probably knock him out.
Renewal: Cain heals very quickly thanks to his superspeed and fey resilience. Injuries that would take months take a like number of days instead, things requiring days take hours, hours take minutes and minutes take but seconds. This is not very pleasant - especially in the case of diseases or toxins which he experiences in extremely concentrated fashion as they run their normal course in a highly compressed time frame. The upside to this being that though the intensity of recovery from injuries and other maladies are heightened, their duration is greatly reduced. He does have to be careful when it comes to broken bones - they have to be set in a few minutes at most or they will need to be rebroken if out of alignment. Cain cannot regenerate lost limbs or organs, though nerve damage will recover slowly over time.
Skimming: While moving at speed Cain can effectively run up or along walls, even on ceilings though slick materials complicate this greatly. He can run across water in much the same fashion as a frilled lizard with ease, and if the smoke is dense enough or contains enough particulates he can run along it though he has to be moving much faster on such a tenuous material. The distance he can leap is also vastly augmented - from a standing start he can leap thirty feet horizontally or fifteen feet vertically, while running he can readily leap five times those distances.
Leyline Running: Fast as he is, Cain is actually able to run much faster than the 'mere' five-hundred miles per hour he can sustain. His speed is magical in nature, and if he runs along a leyline's path he actually phases a bit into the faerie realm with several interesting results. First, his speed is greatly enhanced - even in a weak leyline he is about three times faster, able to run just over mach two, his absolute top speed at present in a strong ley line would be about ten times his baseline sustainable speed, roughly five thousand MPH (Mach 6.5). While running along a leyline Cain can sustain such speed for up to nine hours. There are some inherent limitations with leyline running, and significant risks as detailed in the flaw 'Edge of Disaster'.
