Background

1) Born in 1995, Daniel is a normal kid, middle class.

2) Took acting in school, starred in school plays, learned stage craft and special effects.

3)UCLA, got noticed for his stuntwork and as an amatuer boxer. Picked up to help in a few studios, started landing rolls.

4) 2017 - landed the role of Blue Devil thanks to a friend who was directing this film. Made the suit and special effects himself, the suit is designed for him.

5) 2018 - film success, he is wearing the suit and saves someone from a terrible accident. He is reluctant to do this, but can't let harm befall anyone. Sort of moonlights as a crime fighter while filming sequal.

6) In too deep before 2019 starts, a real demon crosses his path, curses him. The suit becomes his flesh and blood, the trident becomes a real artifact. He's tasked to hunt some demons and is adjusting to this life over the past several months.

Room to grow this BG some, willing to work out hooks between characters as needed. He's been moonlighting for a good solid year or two as Blue Devil in a suit, but recently its more permanently stuck that way. At least for a good solid 5-6 months. Connections with Consortium or the Oblivion welcome.

Powers

Demonic Physiology: His acquired demon physiology gives him access to a number of different traits including:
- Horns: They work if he really wanted to use them benefiting from his overall durability.
- Strength: 20x that of a normal human. He can dead lift a ton and a half easily.
- Durability: He can fall in excess of 500 feet and can stand up without noticeable effect.
- Agility: He is easily on par with the highest tear Olympic athletes.
- Self-Healing: His body does self repair over a matter of just minutes. Combined with his durability he can withstand small arms fire, but eventually that would take its toll. Repeat, cumulative damage can be problematic
- Heightened-Senses: His range is beyond ideal human conditions; he can hear frequency less than 12 Hz (the sounds elephants make that people cannot hear) and greater than 28 kHz (dog whistle high).
- Enhanced Vision: He can see nearly perfect in minimal/low light conditions. He is still impeded by total/magical darkness.

Skills

Acrobatics:
A trained stuntman, he is skilled in acrobatics. This is heightened by his demonic physiology.

Acting:
He is a skilled actor. By no means an A-lister, his name wasn't entirely unkown. He did have the title roll in Blue Devil.

FX Artist:
He is very skilled in special effects and makeup in the film industry.

Boxing:
As part of his training, he is a skilled boxer and undefeated in his last 20 bouts. Part of the training that helped him get in shape and be a stuntman.

Mechanical Engineer:
He is a very skilled engineer. Originally his get up as blue devil was a mechanical suit that functioned about as well as he does as a demon now.

Advantages

Trident:
His trident is imbued with the ability of flight, it can be thrown and returns to him. It can lift enough weight to carry about 20 people. Not that they would fit on it. If they linked arms like monkeys in a barrel though, it could be an effective means of mass transit. Or it can carry very heavy things.

Devilmobile:
With other industry artists, they created the Devilmobile for the initial Blue Devil film franchise. It is functional, they are good effects artists and engineers. It comes equipped with oil slick, mist bombs, anti-gravity disk, ejector passenger seat, booster rockets for canyon jumping action (up to 50 meters at least), and pyrotechnic features that are more show than effective. It does come equipped with a make out function, that reclines driver and passanger seats.

Flaws

Weird Magnet:
Abnormal activity is attracted to him. At first thought to be an affect of being in the suit that looks like the film version Blue Devil (Because it is), it was dismissed as a joke or publicity even. But abnormal and supernatural is attracked to him.
